What is the Product Catalog, and how can it help with my in-salon inventory?

For point-of-sale software partners using SalonInteractive’s product sync feature, the Product Catalog offers accurate product names, sizes, SKUs, etc., for your inventory. 
You can download data for new products, sync existing products, and update prices within your salon software account, with an automatic update every night.

The Product Catalog provides product education for all users, including descriptions, directions, and ingredients, and lives in one place for your entire team. 

How often does the product feed sync to my software inventory?

After the initial sync with your software, the product feed updates every night.

Do I need to upload my clients if my salon software is integrated with SalonInteractive?

In most cases, no; your client data will automatically sync when you log into SalonInteractive. To check, go to Clients > Manage Clients from your SalonInteractive menu, and if you do not see your clients listed, upload them manually from a CSV file. 

If my software is not partnered with SalonInteractive yet, do I need to wait to start an account with SalonInteractive?

No, you don’t have to wait. You can connect your accounts later.  In the meantime, you can take advantage of our eCommerce and marketing features.
